🐛 Unhandled Exception: The Game

"It's 5:42 AM. Your eyes are burning. The code is breaking. And the dev is on his fifth espresso."

Welcome to Unhandled Exception: The Game—a sarcastic puzzle-adventure where the ultimate threat isn't a dungeon boss, but bad variable states, missing assets, floating bridges, and out-of-bounds memory pointers left behind by an exhausted solo developer.

💡 The Premise

You find yourself trapped inside a game that was rushed out way too fast. To escape, you won't just walk around—you'll interact with terminals, inspect object attributes in real-time, edit GDScript variables, decode ciphers, and repair broken scene logic to fix the world around you before the engine crashes.

🛠️ Key Features

  • 🔍 Live Inspector UI: Open in-game inspector panels to alter item attributes on the fly—edit plank counts to repair bridges[cite: 6], uncloak hidden items, adjust physical parameters, and fix broken shop states.
  • ⛩️ 5-Part Market CTF Challenge: Explore the Japanese market level, repair all five corrupted stalls (from serial baud rates to array bounds and shift ciphers), retrieve their relics, and solve the sequential array validation altar.
  • 🗣️ Sarcastic Dev Commentary: Fully voiced, fourth-wall-breaking commentary from a sleep-deprived dev who mocks your every move, victory, or mistake.
  • 🎨 Cozy Visuals meets Dev Humor: Beautiful isometric art[cite: 5] paired with authentic computer science, networking, and security concepts.
